Technical & Leadership Skills

Technical & Leadership Skills

Engineering Enrichment is designed to inspire students and enrich their knowledge with a unique set of skills that distinguish them among engineers. It is a co-curricular program which offers an exceptional hands-on learning experience, drives students’ innovative and entrepreneurial mindsets, and prepares them for the job market.

Training and Professional Development

Engineering Enrichment training consists of short training courses that vary from one to five days long. They are hosted during the academic calendar breaks.

The trainings are classified in two tracks. Technical which brings in Rapid Prototyping, Machining, Programming, Electronic, CAD/CEA, and others. Professional which holds soft skills, business, and managerial skills. Some of the courses allow students to get certified internationally.

Students can register for training courses in different EE cycles throughout the year based on the academic calendar. Student certificates are distributed in the EE certification ceremonies organized twice a year.

Projects and Competitions

There are various ongoing projects which students can choose to join based on their interests. They give students the opportunity to participate in competitions locally and internationally.

Innovation Management

We encourage engineering students with an interest in innovation to pursue student-led efforts to bring their creative ideas to fruition. This component of Engineering Enrichment promotes entrepreneurial mindsets by providing students with the opportunity, skills, and support to build their inventions, e.g., Invent for the Planet, the challenge brought by the main campus and organized by Engineering Enrichment at the Qatar campus.
